Lesser Celandine - Ranunculus ficaria
Time to see - April to June
Height - 3cm
This is one of the first flowers to bloom in the Wildlife Reserve, it is a woodland flower, but is growing near the spinney.

In 2011 the first ones appeared in mid March. After a long winter they herald warmer times to come, in fact it was already warmer that it had been.
