Since resuming group walks in August, we have enjoyed some great local walks and some further afield, mostly in glorious sunshine, so thank you to all those who booked one or more walks. Six local walks have been by organised by our Walk Leaders for October, so we hope you find one you would like to go on.
There will be a maximum of 6 walkers in a group, in line with the latest Government guidance.
For clarity, we will stick to this number for the rest of the year.
If there are two groups, the second will start 5 minutes after the first, staying separate throughout the walk
to help to minimise social contact.
Walk Leaders have found that this has worked very well on recent walks.
As always, please adhere to social distancing before, during and after the walk.
This is everyone’s responsibility.
To book a place, please phone the Walk Leader, as places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Should any walk be oversubscribed, we will repeat it another month.
Walk Leaders will be able to give you more details of their walk, if required, at the time of booking.
They may also allocate groups. Alternatively, this will be done on the day of the walk.
Please remember to bring water, hand sanitiser and a face covering on walks.
Thank you. Stewkley Walkers Committee
